Interview day on 6st
On Thursday 28 June, 2007. I and my friends had a chance to do some interviews with 4 businesses around Whole food area and 6st. It was raining when we went to 6st. I, Ziad and Song(I think). We were the same group. Ziad was late,so when we met him I explained about all the process to him. He did a good job in the end. Song, he was friendly and he helped me and Ziad a lot. He also did a good job.
The 2 stores that quite interesting were Mecca Gym and REI. The Mecca Gym is in the 3 floor of the building. (we almost couldn't find the entrance) We went to the front door of this business, we met 2 cute girls there. First of all, We introduced ourself (myself and friends)
I said, "Hi, we are from TIEP my name is Naree and my friends are Ziad and Song."
The girl said, " Hi, May I help you today? My name is Callie"
I said, " We would like to do some interview your business, Do you have a few minutes for us?"
She said, " Yes, sure"
Then, we started the first question.
I asked," What do you think about your work environment?"
She answer, " I really like it, they take a good care of me and they are friendly. My boss and my coworker are nice and we talk everytime.
I asked, " HOw long do you work here? and Do you think it will be the long term employment"
She said, " I had been working here for 3 years ago and I think I will be here in long term because I really love my job and happy with my job right now. "
Ziad asked, "What does your bussiness the make difference from another gyms."
She said, "We had been open for 7 years. We have a lot of experience and bigger then Pure austin gym. Also, we are populer because we have a great spa."
Ziad said, " Wow...And What kind of the brands do you have."
She said, " Massage, work out items, shower room, landry room, locker room, and the most popular is spa room.
I asked," HOw about the custimer base"
She said," We got 500-600 customers now and they all living in the town such as housewife, working women and men, and walk in customers."
I asked, " Do you have the customers complaints."
She said, " Yes, they complained about the noisy from gym. The manager usually call or talk face to face to explain to them.
Ziad, " HOw about employee complaints?"
She said, " No, I think everything is ok?"
I asked," Do you have Qualification?"
She said, "I can explain some ..for example, gym trainer and spa trainer muct have 2 years experience at least.
I asked, " What the relationship between you and your boss?"
She said, " We are very close and the boss is the owner. She stay here all day, so when we get the problem she always help me all the times."
I asked, "Last qusation, What do you like the best and worst of this business?"
She said," I like to work with my coworker and my boos and I get free spa sevice everyday. The worst is..sometimes I has to be professional mood. It make me not relax."
I was thinking she is lucky that she can get the free spa every day..wow I want too. Then, we said thank you and said good bye...We went to REI and we met Kristi. She had talked with us for 5 mintes because she was busy. However, she was so nice with us and gave us the good information. We started from introduced ourself and asked her the first question. What do you think about your work environment?
She said, " It is relaxing because everybody can wear short and T-shirt everyday, and everybody are equal."
She was working at REI for 10 years, but she explained that she worked at this location since november 2006. We asked about competition.
She said, " We sale everythings about muscle sport because we are muscle store not team sport store (such as biking stuff, camping stuff, ski and snow board stuff). Morover, we have many kind of brand name for customer." She tried to explain that her store was so poppular, and have many expensive brand name stuffs. We asked about customer base?
She said, " Her customer base are mid 30- upper class because everbody our store."
I saked, " Can you tell me about feed back fo the customer?"
She said, " We have feed back box for customer complain and we will sent the the email or call back around 1-3 weeks."
I aksed, " HOw about customer complaint?"
She sadi, " They complain about working schedule because many times they have to work on weekend and holidays."
My friends asked, " Can you explain the relationship between you, you boss and you coworkers?"
She said, " We work, play, do some activites, and party together after working. Sometimes, we do activities with another employee that come from another cities because we have almost 50 locations around US."
I asked, " What is the best and the worst part of working here?"
She said," The best is coworker and the worst is schedule.
We said thank you and we asked her to walk around to check the store out. And we left. We was talking about her store and I thought I will be back to buy some stuff there.

How do I choose the product?

I like to shopping a lot and I like to go with my girl friends who have the same style as me. When I go shopping, the most important for me to buy the stuff are 3 main points. First, It is right one. So,I have to feel this is only mine and it born for me only). Second, I have to think about I really and how much? For example, I don't mine if it is so expensive or have brand name if I really like and I never have it before. I will buy it. On the other hand, if it is so cheap like it's too goo to be true. I really like it, I buy it also. Third, I will think about brand name sometimes if that stuffs are very important such as medicine, service about my life and my family, and stuff for special day( it happen once in whole life). But actually it don't spend much money for brand name stuff. I don't follow my friend or many people that buy stuff for show big face and how rich they are. I don't do that; however, I don't complain. If they like it is their are problems and good for them ( they are happy) because I think everybody have to have diffrent. Also, I like everything in this world diffrent. It will make my life and this world have many colors life style.

What I want to send to my friends.....

I like to meet many people and make friend with them. If I want to send my friends a packages. I will send them 3 things are flowers, CD songs, and cakes all by myself like hand make.
First of all, all the packages that I want to send. They are about entertaining stuffs because I think after their long working and tried. They should get that suffs. And I hope they will make them happy and smile. Second, I don't like to spend money to buy the stuffs that no resonable. I usually make the good stuffs myself, so I can decide and use my idea to create those packages for them. Finally, I can choose the great quality to make the packages. I think it's important because I am not a saleman and I don't want any profit from the packages. I like to make it great, so it can keep longer.
In summary, for all those reasons I think the packages that I want to send to my friends are songs, flower, and cakes will make them happy and think about me because they can't find or buy it from any store.

Movie: Knocked up

This movie was about got pregnant without married. I liked this movie because of it was diffrent. The movie started with the girl her name was Allison. She lived with her sister’s family. She was staff at the TV company. One day, she got the promotion. She was the interviewer for the movie star on TV show. That night, she and her sister went out for celebrated. She met Ben and his friends that bought her a drink. Her sister left early because she had to go back home to take care of her family. She decided to stay at the club with them. She went back her home with Ben. They made love without protection and they were both very drunk. 8 weeks later when she was on the TV show and she threw up. She was pregnancy with Ben. She called him and told him. The guy he didn’t have a real job and wasn’t ready to have a family. She tried to understand him and learned each other more. They started to dating and seeing many time until he loved her and she loved him. 2 months later, they broke up. He found out himself that he had to do something better and get ready to her and a baby. He got a job, bought a house, and read a baby book. In the same night, she called him because she was ready to give a baby birth and nobody around. He send her to the hospital and been with her till she gave a baby. The baby was a girl and so cute. Everybody were so happy and they got along well.

From the movie: I interested 2 things. First, I don’t want to be mom like Allison because I am not ready for a family yet. Another reason is life move foreword, so I have to be careful any activities.

What does rich mean? and how does one become rich?

I assume that everybody want to be rich. But what I mean are inside rich and outside rich both of them are different. Some people just want inside rich, many people want both of them.

Rich is about when you are fulfillment you will feel happy. For example, many people want to be rich, so they try to make more money and work hard. When they get money to buy a big house with swimming pool and luxury car. Everybody will call them " richman". But some people don't have a big house, get the small car and nice family . They can be rich also. The point is they are happy in the way they want is mean rich. How can I find the way to be rich. Everypeople have many different ways to find out. For me I really want to be inside rich more than outside rich. I find out the way to be rich from my friends and my family such as go shopping, working, hanging out, and talking with them I am happyness. Also, I want to be rich like rich girl in the future. I plan to study more and do some business.

In summary, many people can find their own rich easy. Many people is finding right now. I think everything depend on their need. If they need more rich, they have to find out longer time than who need less.

The sompson " Trash of the Titans"

1.Summarize the episode
There was a new holiday creatd in the company that Homer has been working with. The name of the holiday was LOVE HOLIDAY. The main idea was to sale more product. One day Homer finally had to take out the garbage at his house because he spilled the trash can. When he took the garbage out he got a fight with the garbage man, so they didn't take care of his garbage. His house had a lot of dirty and rats. His wife decided to sign his name to say apologize to the Sanitation Commission. He found out ans was so angry. The public office did him decide to run for Sanitation Commissioner. He won the campaign under his alogan" Can someone else do it". He spend a few million a month to let the garbage man cleaned up any massing with the luxuly service. Finally, he got a lot of problems. For example,the office broke, no money to pay the employee and the garbage's problem. He decided to solve the problems with out thinging. He took all the garbage to another city under the town. As a result was it exploded and all the garbage in the town. They run away from the problem. He quit and all the people had to move out to another place.
2. From the episode
In my opinion, From this cartoon I can see the leader wasn't smart and no vision at all. My point is the garbage problem is very important as the great leader, and everyday the garbage will have more and more.So, we have to use the garbage less and try to control. It is not just the leader's fault, but it is about everybody fault. Therefore, we have to serious about the garbage ploblem today.
3.From this aspisode
I think the garbage problem is about everybody respond with our earth. Also, it is the one important problem in the evironmental problem right now. I agree with the Kyoto agreement ,and I think it is important for my future. What I have been doing to help our earth and my future are change a light, drive less, recycle more, use less water,avoid products with a lot of packetaging, plant a tree and tell my friends to do like me....
All thought, I am a small girl in this world, but I feel good that I can find some solution to solve the problems.

Thursday

Today..I missed my class what happened was my new contact lens didn't work for my eyes.It has been started yesterday. But I thought it was ok.
I woke up and tried to wear again, but it still itched my eyes .I thought about wore my old glasses, but I rethought again. I couldn't see well with my glasses when I was driving,so I decided to see the doctor this morning. The doctor asked me to try another brand that was bigger and more comfortable ( more expensive). I just told myself, just picked a best one and paid it. Cus I won't waste my time in the future...
