Which is more important in human development of personality and intelligence: genes or environment?
In fact, both of them are important and relation. But if I really have to choose I think environment is more important. For example, the kid who was born in the poor family. This family live in the slum which are so many crimes, a lot of environment problems, he has no good food or enough food to eat, even can’t get education because his family can’t afford. However, he got the very smart gene if he was born in the good family and good environment he may be genius.
The point is the environment is effect and causes the personality and intelligence of human development more than gene. While the human grow up they need a good environment to make he or she learn how to be smart and good person in the future. Also, they have to have chance such as a good education, good family, and good friends to move forward.

I really agree with you. Although both have an influence, enviroment has a really important roll.
It is true. If you grew up in a different environment you would be a completely different person (cultures, values, religion) and have a very different perspective on the world. (matt)
